How I work

From a problem to a working solution.

Every stage has a clear goal, scope and acceptance point. You know what is being built, what it costs and what comes next.

01

Discovery

A short conversation, review of the current situation and definition of the real business or technical goal.

02

Plan and quote

A concrete scope, priorities, schedule and price before work begins.

03

Deployment

I build, configure and test the solution across the required devices, accounts and failure scenarios.

04

Handover and support

I hand over organised access and essential documentation and — if you choose — continue to maintain the system, server or backup.

How I work

Principles that keep every project under control.

ONE CONTACT

You work directly with me from the first decisions through launch and continued maintenance.

CLEAR SCOPE

Scope, price, timing and acceptance criteria are agreed before work starts. Changes are discussed before they affect the budget.

SAFE HANDOVER

The solution is tested, essential access is organised and the next steps are documented before handover.

What happens at each stage

The most common questions about working together — answered before you ask.

  • Your first messageA description of the problem in your own words, the location and how urgent it is. No brief and no technical vocabulary needed — the technical questions are on my side.
  • What the quote coversScope, price, expected timeline and a clear list of what is not included. If something cannot be estimated upfront, I say so and give a range.
  • Timing and availabilityUrgent failures are usually handled the same day, often remotely. For planned work I give a specific day and tell you in advance about any change.
  • Remote or on siteSystems, email, servers and websites are configured remotely. Hardware, cabling, networks and installations need a visit — I group them so one trip covers several tasks.
  • HandoverWe check the result together. You receive access, passwords in a secure form and a short summary of what was done and changed. Nothing stays only in my head.
  • After completionFixes related to my work are free of charge. Ongoing care, development, monitoring and backup testing are optional — you decide whether to add them and at what scope.
